VBGO e.V. (Assosiation for the Recovery of the Fallen in Eastern) is engaged with the recovery of war dead, whose fates are still unresolved. We do not differentiate between nationalities of the casualties.

Every man has the right to a dignified burial. Their sacrifice is to be remembered.

All are equal in death.

Here you will find some examples of the thousands of fates, which we were able to resolve since 1992.

Every casualty has a story that should be told.

Identity Tag: Der Gefallene wurde in einem verlassenen Einzelgrab in Hinterpommern geborgen. Leider konnte seine Identität nicht mehr festgstellt werden, da keine Erkennungsmarke vorhanden war.
